WESTSIDE COWBOY - 22/11/25

‘Westside Cowboy’s Saturday night pitstop at Portsmouth's KOLA was a fiery night that showcased exactly why their self-coined “Britainicana” sound is taking hold. Currently on their first UK & Ireland headline tour, the band delivered a whirlwind hour of punchy drums and melodic hooks, swinging effortlessly between folky, raw vocals and energetic bursts of fast-paced, indie-punk.

Between songs, the bass of the downstairs club bled through, but the band’s passionate, chaotic charm kept the crowd of curious locals and loyal fans hooked on every tempo shift.

‘Can’t See’ & ‘Don’t Throw Rocks’ - the first two releases off upcoming EP 'So Much Country 'Til We Get There', provided an electric preview of a young band confidently expanding the boundaries of alternative indie. Watch this space... 2026 might be the year of the cowboy.
